My new hobby

The first two pictures have nothing to do with this post, but I wanted to stick them in anyway.

This is Wade as Big Bird and Ken as Elmo at Peyton's birthday party. I can't believe Wade agreed to do this! I don't think he would have if he knew beforehand that he's costume involved tights! I have never laughed so much in my life. Conner was scared to death and I couldn't even console my child b/c I was laughing so hard I was crying. Wade had to look out thru Big Bird's neck, so you can imagine how tall he was. He was atleast 7 feet tall and was hitting his head on all the doorways. I wish I would've gotten a full body shot!

This is my Georgia Boy on his way to Mrs. Johnnie's one morning. I think red and black fit him well!!

So this my new hobby. I'm not that great at it, but I think it's a pretty good start. I'm going to be the mom the kids hate with the camera and 10 foot zoom!!

Madison was the perfect little model.

Now Cade was a different story! He just woke up from a nap and was not a happy camper!

Notice the bed head!

Kaydence is now walking and was quite the poser.

She loves Rocky, but Cade is scared to death of him.

This is Petey a few days after his run-in with a rattlesnake. He survived but the snake didn't!!

Cade 12 months

I took some pictures of Cade at mama's house. When everything gets settled, I'm going to take him somewhere and have his pictures done. We're still staying with my parents and hoping the house is done in a couple of weeks. It's true what they say about the 2nd child....you won't get as many pictures of them. I promise before he turns 2, I'll get his 1 year pictures!!

Our Little Cade turns 1!!

Cade turned one on April 15th. Since him and my niece, Kaydence, are only 5 days apart, we had their parties together at the park. They didn't care much for the egg hunt, but the other kids enjoyed it. I even let my Betty Crocker side out and made their individual cakes (which were nothing to brag about!) The weather couldn't have been better and Cade got lots of toys. Our house is looking more and more like Toys 'R Us!

Cade enjoyed holding the eggs more than hunting them.
Mickey and Minnie

Testing it out

Cade wasn't too sure about his cake at first, but after I stuck his hand in it, it was on! I think he would've ate the entire cake...but it ended up falling on the ground.

Cowboy Conner!!

Going home!!

As some of you know, we recently sold our house in town and will be moving to West Berrien. I'm so excited...I'm finally going home. We were very lucky...our house sold in only 6 days, so we'll be moving out alittle earlier than we expected. Daddy recently bought another farm and remodeled the house that came with it. We are going to rent it from him for a year or two and then build a house. We have always planned to build one day after living in Nashville for several years. Our plans just got bumped up alittle since the opportunity came with somewhere to live in the meantime. We always wondered what we would do between selling and building, so this worked out great! We close April 30th and will probably stay with mama and daddy for a few weeks until the house is finished. We've been busy and will be busy for the next few weeks. We've dealt with sick boys that get better one week, then are sick the next. Cade's finally crawling and keeps us on our toes. He's in to everything and anything that will fit into his mouth does! He will be turning one on April 15th. Conner's growing fast and becoming more and more independent. He's always got something to say. We're taking a mini vacation before we move to Ocala to Silver Springs. We're stopping through Gainesville on our way home to see Bob the Builder Live. I can't wait to see Conner's face. If it goes well, I think we may venture up to Atlanta in June for Thomas the Train at the Fox Theatre. Well just wanted to keep everyone up to date. Hope all is well!!
